Auctions, blind boxes, one-offs
We run live shows where blades go under the hammer, blind boxes get cracked on camera, and limited pieces never make it to the site. Follow on TikTok for drops, then bid on Whatnot.
First live drop hasn't been called yet
Auctions, blind boxes and one-offs start streaming on Whatnot and TikTok at launch. Get on the drop list and we'll tell you the date and time before we go on.
Live auctions
Real-time bidding on Damascus, chef knives and collector pieces. Wins ship within two business days.
Blind box drops
Sealed tiers with a guaranteed floor value. Every box holds a real blade — no filler, no gag items.
Limited releases
Small runs from smiths we work with directly. When the run is gone, it's gone for good.

How a show runs
Ninety minutes, start to gavel
- 01
Rack walk
We open by showing everything going up that night — steel, hardness, origin and starting price called out on camera so nobody bids blind.
- 02
Cut tests on request
Paper, rope, tomato, cardboard. If you want to see how a blade actually performs before you bid, ask in chat and it gets cut on camera.
- 03
Auctions and giveaways
Lots run one at a time with a live countdown. Giveaways land between lots — free to enter, no purchase required.
- 04
Blind boxes cracked live
Sealed tiers opened on camera in the order they sold, so the contents and the floor value are on the record.
- 05
Packed the next morning
Wins are boxed, oiled and edge-guarded within two business days, with adult signature required on delivery.
House rules
Straight terms, no surprises
Bids are binding
Win a lot and it's yours. Non-payment forfeits the blade and gets the account blocked from future shows — that's what keeps starting prices low for everyone else.
18+ with signature
Every blade ships adult-signature-required. We don't ship to anyone under 18, and buyers are responsible for their own local blade laws.
Described as it is
Patina, grind marks, factory flaws and prior sharpening get called out on camera and in the lot notes. If a blade arrives different from what we said, we make it right.
Blind boxes have a floor
Every sealed tier holds a real, usable blade at or above its stated floor value. No novelty items, no padding, no empty boxes.
Shipping and combining
Multiple wins in one show combine into a single package where the platform allows it. Swords ship in rigid cases, sheathed.
Questions after the show
Anything about a win, a blade or a maker goes to justin@bstknives.com and gets answered by a person, not a macro.
Full terms, shipping timelines and blade-law notes live on our shipping & legal page.
First time bidding?
Four things worth knowing
- Do I need an account to watch?
- No. You can watch a show on either platform without an account. You only need one to bid, claim or check out.
- How do I know the Damascus is real?
- We show the spine and tang on camera — real pattern welding carries the pattern through both. Our guides explain exactly what to look for before you spend a dollar.
- What if I win and it doesn't fit my hand?
- Message us. We'd rather trade you into the right blade than have a knife sit in a drawer. Platform buyer protection applies on top of that.
- Is a blind box worth it over buying direct?
- It's worth it if you want curation and surprise. If you already know the exact knife you want, buy it direct — we'll tell you that on stream too.
